Faith Through Trials: When Obedience Leads to Miracles

A man stands at a crossroads, holding a suitcase and wearing a backpack, looking toward a winding path that leads into the distance where a glowing cross shines in the sky. On the left, a tall corporate building symbolizes the security he’s leaving behind as he chooses to follow God’s call by faith.
Stepping away from comfort and security, trusting the unseen path ahead—because faith knows God always provides.

Today’s Testimony Is Brought to You by Our Heavenly Father—Through Our Lives

Living a life of faith—above all else—is not easy. Walking this path often invites trials, and for me, those trials tend to show up physically. I’ve experienced sudden heart issues and unexplained eye infections—both of which, praise God, have been healed. Those are just a couple of the more memorable examples where we have had to have faith through trials.

But here’s what I’ve learned: when these attacks come, I take it as confirmation that we’re walking in the right direction. The enemy doesn’t waste time on people who aren’t a threat.

As many of you know, my wife recently left her 20+ year career in public education. Why? Because God called her to something greater—homeschooling our two children.

Watching this unfold has been one of the greatest blessings of my life. My wife heard a word from the Lord, she prayed over it, tested it, received confirmation, and then acted in bold faith. Seeing her step into deeper relationship with God and trust Him with her whole heart... I’ve never been so proud. Thank You, Father, for allowing me to witness it.

As we researched homeschooling options, we discovered some incredible programs that offer real support to parents. One program, in particular, stood out to my wife. Not only did she feel led to enroll our kids, but she also applied for a small part-time job within the program—something she could manage while teaching from home.

There was just one catch: over 2,000 kids on the waitlist and hundreds (maybe thousands) of applicants for that one position. From a human standpoint, the odds weren’t good.

I remember her telling me about these “giants” in our path—how the interview process alone would take three weeks, just to get through the initial 30-minute calls. But instead of being discouraged, I felt excited. We’ve seen our Father defeat bigger giants before.

She remained faithful, patient, and at peace.

And then… she called me at work (which is rare), and the first thing she said was:

“I GOT THE JOB!”

Of course she did.

The Lord was with her. She was faithful. He made her name shine, gave her the words to say, and opened the door that no man could shut.

This was a miracle—plain and simple. And it’s one that’s still unfolding.

Funny enough, I sensed we were close to breakthrough because I started getting attacked again—headaches, inflamed eyes, random bumps on my scalp. Out of nowhere. But now I see it as encouragement.

I’m grateful the Lord has given me this perspective. When I’m under fire, I know we’re on the verge of something big. The enemy wants us distracted, discouraged, or defeated. But not gonna happen.

Not today, Satan.

All glory to God. Amen.
