God Opened the Door: A Testimony of His Perfect Plan

When the door seemed locked and the way impossible, God opened it wide and led us into His blessings.

Today’s testimony is brought to you by our Heavenly Father.

My wife was recently blessed with an incredible job. She’s thriving in it, and her long career as a public high school teacher has prepared her perfectly for this new season. It’s so clear that God had a plan for her many years ago, and now we’re watching it unfold. I couldn’t be more proud of her. She works hard, keeps her eyes and ears tuned to the Lord, and follows the path He places before her.

The proof of God’s favor has been undeniable. When my wife was hired, all the available student spots in the program had already been filled. The rest—more than 2,000 kids—were placed on a waiting list. Because she was hired after the placements were made, our own children ended up at the very bottom of that list. By every earthly measure, it was an impossible situation.

We prayed about it and agreed: if God had led us down this path, He had a reason. We would remain faithful and trust Him. My wife decided she would guide our kids in her own way this year, treating it like an exploratory season and making the best of it. That, my friends, is an incredible mom. Even with the demands of a new job, she was ready to lead our children with whatever the Lord placed on her heart.

And then, God moved.

After the school year had already begun, my wife received an email: our kids had been accepted into the program! A 2,000+ person waitlist—brushed aside by my God as if it were nothing. Yes, there may have been some practical favor because my wife teaches there, but we never expected this outcome.

Our Father knew all along. It was God's perfect plan, not ours. And it all unfolded because we stayed faithful on the path He placed before us.

My God is the God of good gifts. Every blessing flows from Him.

The benefits of walking in God’s ways never end. If you try daily to stay faithful, you will see His hand in your life and His blessings woven into your plans.
