With God Everything Is Possible (Matthew 19:26): Trusting Him When the Odds Are Against You

Matthew 19:26
Jesus looked at them intently and said, “Humanly speaking, it is impossible. But with God everything is possible.
This passage in the Bible is powerful. I love the teaching and story by Jesus about the rich man. I also love the disciples’ shock when Jesus tells them how hard it is for a rich man to enter the kingdom of Heaven.
Like today, rich people were idolized and looked to for answers. Jesus not only showed that being rich doesn’t mean you have answers, but He opened their eyes to how meaningless money and wealth are in light of eternity. The Lord was reminding His followers that salvation, deliverance, and hope are not found in riches but in God alone. Truly, with God everything is possible (Matthew 19:26).
This verse is the answer to every trial, every hardship, and every problem. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve been in a situation that felt impossible. I had no way out—nothing I had available to me would fix what was wrong. That’s where believers stand out. That’s where our hope—a confident expectation—takes over based on God’s promises.
I am here right now because God intervened and made a way where there was no way. He created a path through the desert, leading me by the hand as I took each step trusting His way. When life feels overwhelming, remember the truth of Matthew 19:26: with God everything is possible.
Whatever impossible situation is before you today, let your hope lead you into trusting God for deliverance. Humanly speaking, everything meaningful is impossible without Him. But with God, there is no limit to what He can do in your life.
