Send Your Praise Ahead and Let the Lord Lead the Way

A modern man stands in the middle of a cracked city street at dawn, one hand raised in worship while holding his daily burdens in the other. Golden light pours forward, transforming his shadow into a warrior with a sword and shield, symbolizing faith, strength, and sending praise ahead into life’s struggles.
When life feels like a battlefield, choose worship over worry. Send your praise ahead and let the Lord lead you through every challenge.

2 Chronicles 20:20–21

[20] Early the next morning, as everyone got ready to leave for the desert near Tekoa, Jehoshaphat stood up and said, “Listen my friends, if we trust the Lord God and believe what these prophets have told us, the Lord will help us, and we will be successful.” [21] Then he explained his plan and appointed men to march in front of the army and praise the Lord for his holy power by singing: “Praise the Lord! His love never ends.”

I love this story. Jehoshaphat is leading an army into battle, and his plan is to have men in front of the army singing praise to God. That’s awesome. As the story goes, the Lord confused the enemy so much that they destroyed themselves.

This moment reminds me of a powerful truth: before every challenge, every unknown, and every battle, we are called to send our praise ahead and let the Lord lead the way.

Recently, I received a word from a friend that said, “A new path is ahead of you, and the path is based on faith alone.” When I get a word like that, I get excited. I can’t wait to see how the Lord will work. It marks the beginning of something I’ve never seen before — a journey that will absolutely use the training and faith lessons I’ve learned up to now.

As I march forward one step of faith at a time, I will send my praise ahead, showing my thankfulness for the Lord’s grace and mercy.

Some of you may be at that same place — standing on the edge of a new path. This message is for you. The Lord has already gone ahead of you and smoothed the way. Every lesson, every challenge, and every victory has been perfectly planned for where He’s leading you next.

Each day, before you take your first step, send your praise ahead. Thank God for His faithfulness, grace, and strength before you even see the results. There is so much more to growth than just moving forward — it’s about trusting that God is giving 100% every day, even when we fall short.

On your best days, remember that your ability to move forward at all comes from His strength. On your hardest days, let your praise be your declaration that the battle already belongs to the Lord. Either way, our success and peace can only be achieved when we recognize that in God alone is our strength.

So today — and every day — send your praise ahead and let the Lord lead the way. Watch Him move, confuse the enemy, and bring victory in ways you never expected.

Thank You, Father, for another day. Amen.

2 Chronicles 20:27–30

[27–28] Jehoshaphat led the crowd back to Jerusalem. And as they marched, they played harps and blew trumpets. They were very happy because the Lord had given them victory over their enemies, so when they reached the city, they went straight to the temple. [29] When the other nations heard how the Lord had fought against Judah's enemies, they were too afraid [30] to invade Judah. The Lord let Jehoshaphat's kingdom be at peace.
