Why Sharing Your Testimony Matters — Your Miracle Was Never Meant to Stay Private

A person sits at a table with unpaid bills, cash, and a “PAID” receipt while holding a phone with an unsent message about God’s provision, highlighting the tension between staying silent and sharing a testimony.
God came through… but will you stay quiet about it? This is why sharing your testimony matters—your miracle was never meant to stay private, and someone is waiting to hear what God has done in your life.

Acts of the Apostles 3:4-6

[4] Peter and John looked at him intently, and Peter said, “Look at us!” [5] The lame man looked at them eagerly, expecting some money. [6] But Peter said, “I don’t have any silver or gold for you. But I’ll give you what I have. In the name of Jesus Christ the Nazarene, get up and walk!”

Share.

What do you do when the Lord comes through? When He answers a prayer? When He provides in a time of need? When a miracle heals or restores you or a loved one?

We live in a culture where everything is watered down. I swear even the flavors of certain childhood favorites are not the same anymore. That could be changes in me—but it’s just not the same. This world focuses on the negative and seems to celebrate it. Even when people are celebrating “good” things, they are not truly good when held up to the standard the Lord set for us. Everything is laced with evil.

No wonder everyone who pursues the things of this world feels lost or empty. That’s exactly the plan of the enemy. How many multimillionaire “celebrities” have we seen say—or sing—that having everything still isn’t what it’s made out to be?

People need to hear and see truly good things more often. Truly good only exists when the Lord is doing the directing.

You have been saved from a horrible situation before.

You have received needed money after praying for it.

You have been healed of pain or sickness.

This is exactly why sharing your testimony matters.

People need to hear this—shout it out! When you experience a miracle, celebrate the way you celebrate the winning point for your favorite team. Share it with people you meet. Be the one who walks up to a stranger and says, “Let me tell you what the Lord has done for me!”

If your Heavenly Father has miraculously healed you or provided for you and no one around you knows about it, YOU ARE DOING THIS WRONG.

I still believe that every miracle is an evangelism opportunity for someone you meet. A specially designed arrow that can puncture defenses and land straight in the heart. That’s why sharing your testimony matters—because your story could be the very thing God uses to reach someone else.

Share, celebrate, shout it out!

Thank you, Father, for one more day. Amen.

Luke 5:22-26

[22] Jesus knew what they were thinking, so he asked them, “Why do you question this in your hearts? [23] Is it easier to say ‘Your sins are forgiven,’ or ‘Stand up and walk’? [24] So I will prove to you that the Son of Man has the authority on earth to forgive sins.” Then Jesus turned to the paralyzed man and said, “Stand up, pick up your mat, and go home!” [25] And immediately, as everyone watched, the man jumped up, picked up his mat, and went home praising God. [26] Everyone was gripped with great wonder and awe, and they praised God, exclaiming, “We have seen amazing things today!”
