Romans 8:28
And we know [with great confidence] that God [who is deeply concerned about us] causes all things to work together [as a plan] for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to His plan and purpose.
I am blessed — and a little anxious, if I’m being honest. Today I start a new job. A job that, even after years of training and preparation, still has the enemy whispering that I’m not ready. But deep down, I know the truth: God works all things for good, even when doubt tries to take over.
The way I see it, I’m stepping into another part of the Lord’s plan for my life. Seeing His hand in every detail is both reassuring and humbling. The people I’ve met so far are welcoming and kind. Even before my first day begins, there’s this peace — a smoothness that reminds me God’s purpose always unfolds in His perfect timing.
Looking back, I can see how the hard season I just came through wasn’t wasted. At the time, I questioned what the purpose of all that struggle was. But now, as things start to come together, I see it clearly — He was shaping me for this very moment. The waiting, the lessons, the refining… all of it was for my good and His glory.
God works all things for good, but it often depends on how we walk through the tough times. Trials don’t break us — they train us. They teach us to stand firm, to lean into God’s presence instead of our fear. And even when we can’t see the full picture, we can trust that He’s already ahead of us, preparing the way.
So today, I’m choosing faith over fear. I’m choosing to see this new beginning not as something I earned, but as another step in God’s plan that’s working for my good.
Praise God for His faithfulness. Stand fast, my brothers and sisters — the Lord has never left us, and He never will.
Amen.
Romans 8:30
And having chosen them, he called them to come to him. And having called them, he gave them right standing with himself. And having given them right standing, he gave them his glory.
