What we have isn’t really ours—it has been given to us to steward and pass on in faith.

Jacob’s night of wrestling wasn’t about strength—it was about surrender. Wrestling with God for a blessing brought Jacob to the breaking point where self-reliance ended and transformation began. This powerful moment reminds us that God often meets us not when we fight for control, but when we finally let go and trust Him completely.

The world may call us foolish for giving, serving, or following Christ when it doesn’t add up on paper. But 2 Corinthians 5:13 reminds us that trusting God when it doesn’t make sense is not insanity—it’s obedience that brings Him glory.

When I surrendered my heart to God, a holy fire began to burn in my soul. He was drawing me deeper, not to destroy—but to refine. Like gold tested in flame, we are refined by fire when we let go of sin and seek God’s will. The more we surrender, the more His peace consumes us—regardless of our circumstances.
